MARCOROSSI artecontemporanea is a network of art galleries founded in 1994 with the name of Spirale Arte and concentrated on five locations located in the cities of Milan, Pietrasanta, Rome, Turin and Verona. Each gallery is directed by a staff of professionals coordinated by the founder Marco Rossi, an expert in the contemporary art market for more than thirty years.

From the very beginning, the galleries’ artistic program has focused on research and the languages of painting and sculpture, representing the work of both historicized and emerging Italian and international artists. In recent years, the group’s research line has opened up, with passion, to contemporary photography.

Services

In-depth consultancy

A customized selection of artworks is curated for each project, in collaboration with architects and interior designers, or for the specific needs of commercial projects. Appointments and videos with the gallery’s team in Italy, and on site visits where applicable, are offered to offer insights into artists and artwork selected for a project or for a in-depth consultancy.

Art curator on demand

An “art curator on demand” will follow the whole process based on floor plans, mood boards, style, images and videos of the property.

Interior designers support

Our team offers and supports interior design projects in which our curatorial art service perfectly complements our exclusive offer of furnishings from luxury Italian brands, to give life to high personalized, sophisticated, and exclusive interiors.

Site-specific artwork

In the art world, the term site-specific refers to a work designed specifically for inclusion in a particular place. Creating a site-specific artwork means establishing a unique relationship and harmony between the client and an artist who is capable of interpreting and creating a work that will fit specifically into the site selected by the customer. The work is guided by an external party who discusses it with the artist, approves the artist’s plan and accepts the final terms for creation of the artwork.
