MARCOROSSI artecontemporanea gallery in Pietrasanta presents, in its two locations, a group exhibition featuring seven artists who routinely blend painting, sculpture, and photography skillfully.
From the symbolic alphabet etched in encaustic on wax in Sergi Barnils’ works, to the material abstraction of Medhat Shafik, from Franco Guerzoni’s refined wall paintings to the essential lines of Valerio Berruti’s tapestries on jute. From Matteo Basilé’s portraits, where he uses the camera as a brush, to Paolo Ventura’s urban visions, incorporating both painting and photography in his pieces, culminating in a precious bronze sculpture by Ivan Theimer, a sophisticated artist who blends classicism and modernity in his sculptures.
